Gypsy guitar started as street performance and SBGC will passionately be ripping in to some guitar for this unique setting...

Santa Barbara Guitar Collective:   Robbie and Mike, are the heart of the Santa Barbara Guitar Collective (SBGC). Their diverse backgrounds meld into one as they bring you the rich musical heritage that is World Music, offering everything from intricately arranged classical guitar ensemble pieces to upbeat, artistic expression of traditional, dance-rhythm music and masterful improvisations. Includes rumba, tango, gypsy, jazz, and more! 
Featuring original music in their repertoire, they bring formal classical guitar master works from Agustin Barrios to music you know and love from groups such as the Gipsy Kings, Buena Vista Social Club, and Santana.

Funkstication! Feed the Funk at Soho Music Club - Get Tix Now!

Join us for the 4th Annual Feed the Funk Benefit Concert on Saturday, September 17th from 7:00 p.m. to close at SOhO Restaurant & Music Club.

This year’s Feed the Funk will begin earlier and be more inclusive, welcoming all ages from 7:00-9:00 pm to enjoy dinner and teen entertainment. The Jewish Federation’s Teen Comedy Club will kick off the event to warm up the crowd, followed by the Cate School Advanced Jazz Combo, and the Notes for Notes© Jazz Villains.

From 9:00 pm-close, SOhO welcomes everyone 21 and older to hear top local Funk music by the all-star Funk super group and headlining act, FUNKSTICATION. The New Vibe is a high energy funk, sure to get the crowd moving with a special Prince tribute set. FUNKSTICATION is a special collaborative project consisting of some of our best local funk musicians coming together in support of our efforts...we are talking about some top tier, best professional funk musicians around. FUNKSTICATION carefully devises and prepares with the highest of standard musicianship, and thought out mix of intricate, tasteful funk songs by greats artists such as Grant Green, Tower of Power, Funkadelic, and much more. Joey Flowers on guitar and other effects, Joe Ambriz synth and percussion, the famous "TwompStomp" Anthony Ambriz, who you may have seen playing with like 10 other great bands, and frresh off tour with Alastair Greene, Luther Richmond on vocals and an incredible bass master. 

In addition to dinner, comedy, and music, attendees will enjoy a silent auction featuring items and experiences from local businesses, restaurants, wineries, artisans, and more, as well as an instant wine cellar raffle including dozens of bottles worth up to $2,000.

Proceeds from this year’s Feed the Funk benefit concert will support local teen mentorship arts and music programs, including Notes for Notes®, a partner of our local Boys & Girls Clubs, the Jewish Federation’s Teen Comedy Club, and more. Notes for Notes®, is a non-profit organization dedicated to providing youth with free access to musical instruments, instruction, and recording studio environments so that music may become a profoundly positive experience in their lives.
