GuitarWitt offers one-on-one instruction in a comfortable space in downtown Santa Barbara, or wherever the student prefers.
Michael Witt teaches a limited group, dedicating his full energy, catering every lesson to his students' needs. He has worked with a wide variety, ages 8 to 93, from beginner to advanced levels.
The student-instructor bond has proven to be a long term experience, lasting for years, but he also encourages curious, spontaneous drop-ins. His instruction approach includes a balance of the students' preferences and enrichment in needed areas; be it technique, practice routine, repertoire, theory, performance, accompaniment, dynamic, etc.
He strives to transcend growth between the student, music and family, and building a relationship that creates a musical experience for a lifetime.
