Looking forward to playing a special set of repertoire consisting of classics from South America, covering at least half the nations. The last show at Brasil Arts was a fun set of only Brazilian music. Brazil will continue to be heavily included but now expanding to countries such as Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Paraguay, Venezuela and more!

Downtown Santa Barbara Love

It is great to be a part of the flourishing Santa Barbara Arts community! Thanks to the new 10 West Gallery on 10 West Anapamu Street for having GuitarWitt as part of the Downtown Santa Barbara Organization’s DSB Live Art Wine community event, not to mention countless fun 1st Thursday receptions. For the DSB Live Art Wine Event, 10 West Gallery also featured live art from the local reputable abstract artist, Rick Doehring, and amazing poetry by Molly, as seen in the image. Culinary arts - catered by many a local and our faves – Brasil Arts Café. Of course, some great local Santa Barbara County Wines were enjoyed. Due to the nature of the event, Brazilian classical and jazz, among other upbeat instrumental pieces were performed. GuitarWitt Brazilian repertoire includes works by Heitor Villa-Lobos, Paulo Bellinati, Garoto, Jobim and more. The event was a great success and we look forward to doing it again!
